Clowns
A big red nose that honks when squeezed.
Makeup that makes Lady Gaga look normal.
Enormous shoes shined brighter than the sun.
Over-sized over-alls looking gumpy and strange
A trick flower that shoots seltzer water.
An umbrella riddled with holes.
Juggling balls by the dozen.
And a hanker chief that never seems to end.
All of this effort to get a laugh or chuckle from kids,
But any kid will tell you
That they are afraid of these laugh engineers
And wanted a pony instead…
