good samaritan law

I believe that there should not be a good Samaritan law put in place because of the simple fact that not everyone is a hero. We all like to picture our "selfless savior" coming to our rescue in our time of need, but the fact is that not just anyone can be that ace in the hole.
About two weeks ago my carpool was involved in a car accident. (everyone was fine by the way) some of the bystanders rushed over to help, but some just stood there in shock. It is because of this collapse of consciousness that there should be no good samaritan law. If there was than normal people who could potentially help but, not by their own choosing, lose control of themselves they would be prosecuted. This would not always be the case but the times when this would happen innocent people would be charged and that can not happen. It is not the way our justice system works.
