No Gum Rule
At Olympian High School, one of the rules is your not allowed to chew gum on campus and/or during class. If you ask me, I think this rule is dumb. Whether teachers like it or not, students will still chew gum. Chewing gum at school is no big deal, as long as you do not just throw it on the ground, or stick it under a desk. I mean, if you are going to chew gum, be responsible and throw it away once you decide you want to stop chewing it. Most students are like this, just that teachers do not always see this action and automatically think "gum chewing" means messy under desks and black spots on the ground around campus. Chewing gum is no big deal and should be allowed at school.
