Description-Viola

The viola is a classical instrument that is compared to the Violin plenty of times. Yet the Viola differs in complexion and tone. The Viola is slightly larger than the Violin yet small enough for it to sit on your shoulder. It has a deeper sound than that of a Violin but not as deep as the Cello or the Bass. When listening to classical music you will notice that the Viola rarely ever gets the melody but when it does you can hear the beautiful, full sound it gives out. The bow used to play the Viola is made of horse hair. It is very delicate and may break if you tighten the bow too much. The Viola may seem uninteresting or unimportant, but it is much more than just "for show" as some may say. The Viola itself is very unique and flawless.
