Controversial - The Two Finger Strap Rule

It is by state law that on school campus, tops must have as least two inch wide straps. When a student violates the school rule, she or even he, must cover up with a sweater or cardigan. They come up with the reason that we might distract other students and disturb the learning environment. Yet little do they know how unbearably hot it gets down here, especially during summer when temperatures are at it's highest. It doesn't help that freshman and sophomores are obligated to take a physical education class where we have to run our miles and do our bleachers under the burning hot sun. Then we have to get ready in about 3 minutes and run all the way across the school back to class to make it under the seven minute time period while trying to cool down, and still the pedantic supervisors make us cover up. No one likes being called "Sweaty" nor looking like a sweaty pig. I would at least modify the rule by not having to cover up when temperatures are through the roof and when they're trying to cool down after P.E. Besides, what's more distracting; spaghetti straps or sticky, stinky, sweaty classrooms?
