The Amazing Wall Clock

After humans mastered the ability to tell time, it has greatly effected everything we do in our lives. Following the invention of the clock, people around the world have been able to keep track of every second, minute, and hour, that passes as we continue our everyday lives. Their simple job of telling time comes with such complexity and beauty, that people today rarely pay attention to.

It starts with the cogs that are hidden within. They mesh together and keep the exterior minute and hour hands turning. The mechanisms that keep the clock moving are so well crafted, that most clocks do not need to be very large. The parts look so complex and well polished, that the clock even looks stunning on the inside. Working all day and night, the complex inner mechanics are truly the brains of this fine invention.
The short hour hand, longer minute hand, and usually, a thinner hand that counts the seconds,  ensure that we are able to read the time easily. These three hands keep track of time by following the sixty ticks that are painted on the front of the clock. Starting at the top of the clock, is a "12", and moving clock-wise, are the numbers 1-11. Despite these standard clock parts, the appearance of a clock can vary.
As seen here, a clock can be anything from being sleek and modern, to old-fashioned. They can be creatively manufactured, and have just about any decoration and style imaginable. People always purchase a clock that best suits their personal style and personality. The decor that comes with it can tell a story about the environment around it.
We tend to forget that little things like wall clocks can tell more than just time. They do more than just that. They help us live lives that are in sync with the world, and all that surrounds us.
