Policy- Listening to Music

A controversial policy that is enforced at Olympian High School is listening to music or your ipod during class. I understand that it can become a distraction but it  brings joy to students. What i would do different is students can listen to their ipods during tests, small independent class works and quizzes. For some students, it helps them concentrate and shut out all other distractions. Therefore, focusing on their work. Outside is already an exception. All the other times than that, kids shouldn't take their ipods out.
