Hurrican Irene is one of the most destructive hurricans since the 1980's. Its lashed its devasting power with high winds, heavy rain, and large waves, sweeping through the north east, causing the deaths of 40 plus people, across 13 states.And the addition of cutting off elctricity, flooding the roads, and sending the economy to pieces. It left with some people stranded, without homes, and in need of aid.
