Hurricane Irene

Hurricane Irene was the first hurricane to strike the US since September 2008 When hurricane Ike struck. Hurricane Irene has left about over 40 people dead , many people injured, left millions of people without electricity, cause major floods, thousands of flights were canceled, and plenty of roads were closed. All the damage made by Hurricane Irene will take about a billion dollars worth of repairs making it the 10th billion dollar disaster in the US.
