Plagiarism

Plagiarism is very dangerous , risky and illegal. I dont understand why people would take others work and present it as your own. Plagiarsim can get you into jail, and you can be in there for a long period of time. I suggest that people shouldnt do it because even though they dont think it matters when they are copying , but it will turn into a horriable outcome. Especially in college if someone does plagiarism that can mess up everthing for that persons future. It will be something that follows the person forever , where ever they go .

Cassius

In Shakespeare's "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar", Cassius is cunning, mischievous, and selfish. He is also very observant and manipulative. He wants Caesar dead and considers nothing but his own greediness to have his goal met. He is a character that I cannot completely love or hate. I dislike him because of his intentions, not doing his job as a senator and considering the fate of Rome, and for turning Caesar's people against him. Yet I like him because he is very smart and knows just how to manipulate people into getting what he wants. My favorite part of Act 1 is how he was able to reel Brutus in on his conversation to go against Caesar by sugar coating it with things that would interest Brutus, such as his loyalty to Rome.

Cassius

In, "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar" Cassius, is Julius Caesar's foil. He is the Senator of the Roman Republic and is hungry for power. He wants to get the power away from Julius Caesar. He is very much against Caesar. Cassius is a very observant person, and throughout scene 1 acts 1 and 2, he's been trying to persuade others against Caesar as well. He has Brutus in the palm of his hand practically, bringing fear to him that Caesar has bad intentions. He manipulates him, saying that in reality Caesar is not a great god like people portray him to be. Eventually, he manages to assassinate him and his power is no longer there.

Julius Caesar- Raffi Rillo

Julius Caesar in the play "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar"  is described as a powerful, ambitious ruler that won many battles for Rome. He is very confident and arrogant. He is proud of what he does. But he is also a very superstitious person. For example, in the play, he wanted the winner of a race to touch his wife so that she can become clean. However his arrogance is bigger than his superstition.
To keep himself in power, he does not want "lean" people around him. Meaning that he does not want skinny, ambitious people around him because they would want power and could take it away from him. For example, when Caesar explains to Mark Antony that Cassius is ambitious and dangerous. Instead of "lean" people, he wants fat people around him because they are content and are already happy with what they have.
Caesar was also deaf out of his right ear and had epilepsy.

cassius

Cassius in the play "The tragedy of julius caesar" by william shakespeare reacts as a keen behavior. Cassius used to fight along side Julius Caesar. However, due to the fact that Julius Caesar has becomed a god like ruler, cassius, in jealousy, used Caesar's defects against him. Toward Act 1 he manipulates Brutus by providing specific details on how Caesar is hurting Rome, due to Brutus being nationalist. Later on a storm comes in, and another character, Casca, comes into the play believing storm is the god's anger. Cassius takes act toward Casca's fear and uses the situation to manipulate his beliefs to point out how the gods where angry at Caesar. Cassius is sharp, intelligent, jealous and possesive.

Match.com: Marcus Brutus

Marcus 'lover man' Brutus is man looking for that special someone. Someone who reminds him of his great love form his country Rome and who shares the complete, all be it occasionally naive, quality of absolute trust in people, even when they do not deserve it. His personal life is currently being spent deciding the fate of Rome with his companion Cassius. Both of them are senators and are concerned about the shifting tides of power in Rome to Julius Caesar. A supportive woman is probably the best match for him because he is going through a very rough time deciding whether or not to assassinate on of his closest friends. To get an idea of the inner feelings of Brutus it may behoove any would-be match to know that he is Marc Antony's foil. (you know, the one always running around town naked and touching Caesar's wife for good luck) In conclusion, Marcus Brutus is patriotic, has a good intentioned heart, and may or may not smell of lilac floating on the cool spring breeze of Tiber river at dawn.

Cassius

In the play, The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, by William Shakespeare a character named Cassius is a smart, ambitious, and observant person and also a senator of Rome. His main goal is to get rid of another senator named Julius Caesar. His plan to get rid of Caesar is an assassination on the month of March. Cassius tries to persuade some of Caesar's friends on why Caesar should be get ridden of. Cassius does successfully persuade Casca with superstition and is currently trying to persuade Brutus.

Cassius

Cassius a characte in the play, "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar" is presented as someone who knows how to manipulate other people, Cassius is a senator of the Roman republic. He dislikes Julius Caesar which maked him want to get him out of power. Cassius thinks that it would be much easier if he has more people against Caesar, for him to get him out of ruling, which is why he starts putting ideas in Brutus and Casca's mind. When a storm came, it made it easier for Cassius to manipulate Brutus and Casca, because he saw the storm as a positive thing, and he was actually excited about the storm. Since his plan was to get more people against Caesar, he just thought that the storm was a great start.
Cassius is truly my favorite character in "The Tragedy Of Julius Caesar" so far. He is a superior character that shows both his brilliance and his slyness, in the way he manipulates the ones' around him, with just a single conversation. As he is the senator, he is against Caesar because he thinks he will make Rome fall, and will do whatever it takes to "plant a seed" in the other senators' heads. In my opinion i think he is jealous, and wants do go to the extreme to take Caesar out. So far he has successfully turned Casca against Caesar. His next target? Brutus. Brutus's way of being (naive) has made him an easy target for Cassius. Cassius is having the time of his life as a thunder storm arises from the clouds. It will only make his goals easier for him to eventually turn everyone against the king of Rome, Caesar.

-Alan Martinez Pd. 4(;

Cassius

In Act 1 Scene 2 a storm happens and everyone has a different opinion about it. Cassius think that it is a pleasant night and he is excited and more positive but Cassius is thinking that this storm is a good thing and that everything is going to turn out fin and with this he convinces Casca that Caesar is bad but now he needs to convince Brutus. Cassius is very manipulated and can be very mischievous. Cassius is very dangerous and can not be trusted and he wants all the power

Julius Caesar Character Analysis

In the play "Julius Caesar", Julius Caesar is presented as a superstitious, arrogant person during the first scene during a race that he spectates. He comes off as arrogant because although he is superstitious, he is confident in himself that the soothsayer's prediction of his death is not true. Since Caesar is also a very popular political figure in Rome, and his power makes him a person that is very hated and envied by other politicians that are power hungry. Cassius, in particular, is plotting against Julius in order to bring the emperor to his death, in order to seize power. Cassius tries to convince Brutus that Caesar is nothing but a mortal since is treated like a god, but Julius gets ill like any other person, and he is even deaf in one ear. Meanwhile, Julius does not become suspicious of other characters' actions and it shows that he is a little unobservant of the others' actions.

Julius Caesar

Julius Caesar in the play, "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar," by William Shakespeare was a Roman general who desired power. Like most Romans during his time, Caesar was superstitious. Not only was he superstitious, but he was also ambitious, perceptive, and arrogant. Being a crude man who desired power, he did not want any lean, "hungry" officials to assist in his business because he believed that they would crave for power once they had enough strength themselves. Instead, Caesar wanted fatter and dumber officials because he did not see them as a threat. With an observant eye, Caesar took notice of Cassius's mischievous behavior and was able to determine that Cassius thought too much and was dangerous. Julius Caesar was deaf in his left ear, and along with that and his arrogant attitude, he tended not to listen too much to what other people said.

- Arlynn Adamos Period 4

Julius Caesar

Julius Caesar is one of the main characters. He is seen as a dictator and in known for being very demanding to the people. Julius Caesar is also really ambitious in wanting to have power, that he wants only fat and dumb people around him to make him look good. But Julius Caesar is deaf from his left ear and does not like to listen to want other people have to say.

Gaius Cassius

In the play, The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, by William Shakespeare, Cassius is a senator of the Roman Republic, and is very much against Julius Caesar. It is his desire to remove Caesar from power, and eventually does so through assassination. He is presented as a cold, calculating man. He can easily see people's true intentions, showing that he knows of dishonesty very well. He is also a master of manipulation, as  evidenced by his manipulation of the honorable Marcus Brutus, a close friend of Caesar.

~ Clinton Barnes

Cassisus

Cassius is a character in the play, "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar," and as of right now, he is the senator that habours malevolent feelings toward Caesar. He believes that Caesar should not be ruler of Rome, and he would do whatever it takes to manipulate his fellow senators to turn against Caesar. He is very manipulative, able to shift conversation, from one thing then making Caesar as his main focus. And as of right now, Cassius is having coincedential events(though he never made a plan. . .yet), such as the storm, which makes things easier for him to manipulate Brutus along with Casca.

Marcus Brutus

Marcus Brutus is one of the characters of," The Tragedy of Julius Caesar". He is naive, reserved, a slave to Rome, and the foil to a character named Anthony who is happy about games in Act I. He will do anything that he feels that is the best for the Roman republic and values honor greatly. He slowly becomes persuaded by Cassius that Julius Caesar is not honorable and not immortal, which some people have been saying. He is conflicted with the thought of Julius Caesar's growing power and his close friendship with him.

Cassius is a character in the play The Tragedy of Julius Caesar that is very critical about Julius Caesar and his ruling. Cassius believes that Julius Caesar should not be ruling and is not an honarable person. Cassius is a very manipulative person who convinces Marcus Brutas that Julius Caesar should not rule. He is a observant and intelligent man who knows what he is doing. In Act 1 there was a thunderstorm which Cassius believed was meant as a sign that Julius should not be ruling!

Personal Growth- Raffi Rillo

Before the two week break, I was a lazy kid with a fairly low work ethic and I didn't really focus on school that much. After getting many talks from my two older sisters, I had a big realization that I need a change within myself to get better grades in school. During the two week break I was assigned a lot of homework from each of my classes. Rather than procrastinating like i used to, i started all the homework early and was able to get it done before the last weekend of break! From now on, I plan to continue on making progress throughout my educational career!

Personal Growth

Over the past two weeks, I think that I have grown the most personally in my area of patience. I say this because my grandma got very sick, and over the break I went almost every day to visit her. She is now very old, and gets easily irritated. When you talk to her, you have to be careful with what you say to her, because she takes things the wrong way. Also, she's starting to forget things easily and she cries for simple every day things. All this made me be patient, I had to be compassionate, and I had to be peaceful and I had to show her that I cared.
-Raquel Farfan

Personal Growth

During the fall break, I spent everyday going to practice,  and waking up early for games and tournaments. I'm a varsity volleyball player at OHS, but despite having that proud title, since I'm a sophomore and aren't as good nor experienced to "take" someone's position that I usually am, puts me in a difficult spot. Knowing that I have 2 more years to improve with the help of older varsity girls and off season club, it still gets to me when I don't get to get on the court. Especially, because this year we enter the Mesa league. But I was determined to show the coach that I will improve and soon just push someone out of their position and start. And when I thought about it, I could've always been on JV, starting every game as the position I want to be, but I would never improve as a player to a varsity level. So the biggest growth I made throughout the break was to have a positive attitude and have determination to improve a lot this year. So that next year, I could start and play what I want.

Personal Growth

During the two week break, I realized a lot about myself. I spent more time with my sister, like taking care of her and picking her up from school, helping her on her homework, feeding her, ect. Over this time, I learned how to be a more caring and responsible person, and really feel like i have changed my ways of being, and also my attitude towards different things. I feel like iv'e grown closer with my younger sister, and thankss to her my personal growth during break was a big change.
- Frida Perez

Personal Growth

Over break the most important personal growth I did was turning fifteen and becoming a better leader. I worked on my leadership skills so that I could run Fashion Club more efficiently but I have yet to see how much I've improved until we find out how successful our big events turn out to be in the next couple of weeks. (We're having a special Homecoming Fashion Show to advertise the masks that we're selling for Homecoming!!!) For my fifteenth my goal was to conquer one of my biggest fears. After experiencing a horrible seat-belt malfunction on one of the rides at the Del Mar Fair, I was automatically driven to overcome my fear of crazy roller coasters. The only place that I could find that was suitable for this was Six Flags. We drove up there and I brought my cousin to encourage me to go on the rides and not cry if anything happens to us. It wasn't until I rode the first ride, which just happened to be Goliath, that I realized what I have gotten myself into. It was our first time there and the rides were crazy. Nothing like the "crazy" roller coaster in Disney California, the rides at six Flags were like a death sentence. We went on some really exiting ones like Superman, Green Lantern, Batman, Deja vu, X2, Ninja, and finished the day in line for Tatsu when they announced that the wait time was still an hour and a half. It was an experience that I will remember the rest of my life, especially since I overcame my fear and didn't back out on any of them and tried my best to not close my eyes. It was fun and I really enjoyed it, hope to go there again soon!

Be Successful

These past few weeks I have worked my way up a harder level of school. I have had my dificult moments, however I have not given up. A couple days ago we had a 2 week break, and I discovered a few things. Two weeks without school can be really boring, when you have nothing to do, and also it can greatly affect memory from past learnings. When coming back from break it takes time to refresh memory to keep learning. I do not love school, but I am really glad to have something to do, and be able to learn more for further knowledgement. We are barely walk way through the semester, things will get harder and harder therefore I shall do my best and stop doing B work. Taking the PSAT made me realize how difficult acquiring a future is. I will do my best to achieve my goals and be successful.

Personal Growth

During the past 2 weeks I did lots of things, which include therapy, shopping, dance classes, XV's, concert, and last but not least my birthday. My birthday made me realize that in one whole year I have changed a bit. I personally have improved in being a better person each day, and I have been seens I can remember. Also, I have seen lots of personal growth in me because I feel like a different person now. Last year I was 15, and now I am 16, I know it is not a big change but in those 365 days, I have matured a little bit more, I have a little bit more patience with my family, and I have achive some goals that I have set myself. During those 2 weeks I have realized how much I have changed and in what. I will always remember these past 2 weeks.

Bodacious Boredom

During the past two weeks of break I have discovered something new about myself; I really need to get out more. I spent most of my break sitting at home watching Dr. Who or reading, and while these are both great, they get really old after a couple of days. Luckily my dad and grand-dad were in much of the same position as I was, so we decided to go to the Miramar air show and a USC football game. (my brother attends the university so it seemed only fair that we join in the fun)Both events were incredible amounts of fun and i look forward to doing them again in the future. But, alas, I still had a week of nothing planned. I tried and failed at organizing a couple of parties with friends, though I did learn that becoming a wedding planner is a very bad career choice for me if i cant even organize going to the pool with ten people. With the days winding down I thought about my vacation, I had not done much but, maybe that was a good thing. I had taken a step back from planning and working, and felt better in general from doing so. All in all I had a nice relaxing break, and I wouldn't change a thing about it because I learned the value of resting and taking a step back from things.

Personal Growth

In these past two weeks I have grown alot. I realized that life is too short too waste time. During break, I turned fifteen and I learned that now that I'm in high school I have to start planning for college. This also made me realize that I have to try harder in school and improve my grades. I also realized that it is really important to be responsible. I also learned that I have to prioritize on my school work and not on music, facebook, or watching TV. I also realized that I have to really good in high school, to complete my goals for college and after college, for my future

Personal Growth

Over the two week break, I didn't really do much. However, there was a lot of family time and sports practice. Lately, my family seems to have been really caught up in their own activities and sports, but over break I was fortunate enough to spend a lot of quality time with each member individually. I feel like the bonds we once had have been rekindled, and I know we have become closer. As for sports, it was really hard for me to have to take away from the time I was spending at family events to go to practice, but I knew that I needed to attend in order to advance in things like stunting. After all the sacrifice, it really paid off and I know that the team is progressing in things that are meaningful to us. The growth of the team ultimately effects the growth of each individual, and I feel like I have made a lot of progress. All these common situations in life have greatly affected me and I know each obstacle can only build onto my perseverance and determination, ultimately making me a better person.

Personal Growth

i dont really think i grew over the past two weeks really. i played football during the week and worked on schoolwork and hungout with friends on the weeknd. so nothing really changed for me to realize anything. other than i rwally need to get my homework done. i dont maybe something changed and i dont realize it but i havent had anyrevelations inmy life.

My Personal Growth

I have grown a lot personally in these past two weeks. During this break I was realizing how fast time will go by before I'm in college. During these past two weeks I have been struggling a lot with my grades and I have been trying to do my best in these years of high school. I have been trying harder on all of my homework. I am just trying to bring all my grades up for every class and wanting to get a GPA that will allow me to go to go to college. But, I not only want to go to college but succeed and graduate from college. My personal growth has been motivating myself to do better in school and knowing that all this hard work will soon pay off.

Personal Growth

Over the 2 weeks I have been taught that you can only reach your goal only if you try your hardest. I have been practicing martial arts and my other favorite hobbies to the best of my ability and after a few days I began to see improvements. After all the improvements I saw I decided to actually try even harder in my school work. I was inspired by my Master's (Martial Arts teacher) lectures , martial art documentaries , and sometimes myself when ever I think about how professional musicians, dancers, and etc. got to where they are now.

Personal Growth

My personal growth for that past things, really just focused on 2 things: Family bonding and sports.
My family got much closer over the break, which was great, since our lives were mostly busy with work and school. But it was agreat time to see the things we have missed, and make up time for it. My family went to have a fishing trip to bond closer with the males in the family, and also shopping to make it fair for the ladies. Another thing that added to my growth, was my ability in my sport golf. Over the past two weeks, with games and tournaments, our team became more focused and more closer. Our scores kept increasing and getting better, which added to our morale. And that pretty much sums up my break in general and my personal growth.

Personal Growth

You probably thought that two weeks were to little, but for me it was perfect to reflect on things and to grow as a person. Most of my two weeks of break I spend time reading books that intrest me, and I also spend time with my family. I am not the type of person that just grabs a book and starts reading if they dont make me but having these two weeks just for me helped notice that I actually enjoy reading. I realized that I grew as a person since I actually liked reading and finish the book in a very quick time and I understood everything that I read. Spending more time with my family while I was in break also helped me grow as a person, and it actually feels really good to bond with people that you love.

Personal Growth

Over the two week break, I had a few personal growth within myself. I worked baseball off season with a different team that was affiliated with the school baseball club team. My mind set in games are more solid and sharp and do not think twice of doing something. I became very close with my past teammates from Eastlake high in my travel team that we still play together. I also had personal growth in practicing my instruments and was able to reach to semi-pro in one of them. There were some things that I began doing things even more better, but I still quite have a long way to go.

Rylee Nazareno

Alan's Personal Growth

Even though we only had a 2 week break i have managed to change in many ways. First I have been working out doing push ups, pull ups, trunk lifts, etc for about an hour or so and i will start going to the gym soon. I have also changed my habits of going out with friends everyday to only once or twice a week. It has allowed me to spend more time with my family and more time for school and homework. Something I used to never do was wash cars, but recently i have washed my sisters and helped my brother, it feels good after your done because you know you helped your family in some way. I notice that i have been more productive with everything i do, Even my family says so. And now instead of going to the mall or going on the computer i'd rather go out to the park to play some sports like basketball and football. I know i can do better though and know i can improve some more because i am barely starting to realize some things that i never thought of. It feels good to change.

Personal Growth

Over the break, I went to San Francisco with the Olympian academic Decathlon team. I have grown tremendously over the break, especially over the trip. I really got a lot closer to my teammates. The trip also got me excited about top-tier colleges like Stanford and Berkeley, which makes me want to work even harder to achieve my goals. The trip also taught me that I am NOT ready to be on my own. However, I never felt more independent, free, and alive in my entire life than when I was in San Francisco., which makes me even more excited for the tie that I am ready.

Personal Growth

Over the break, the main thing to do was homework and hang out with family. One of my personal growth experiences was that I realized that I need to strengthen my friendships with some people and even make new ones. Not to the point where it interferes with my school work but enough to balance out my life. I am grateful that I have made quite a few already but we are not close to the point I feel I can turn to them if I have problems. Right now, the people I am closest too are my dad and sister. I hope with some work I will continue to make more friends that I can hang out with if I am bored or even sleepover their house. Having friends in high school is one of the key things that can help a teenager get through high school. Without them, a life can be filled with loneliness and sadness, which I  do not plan to live anytime soon.

Personal Growth

During the two week break, I have learned many things. I spent most of break babysitting my little brother and sister, but the 2nd week my grandma was in the hospital and I got to spend some time with her. I have realized that I must work hard, so that in the future I can help people. I have grown to realize that there are people who struggle and some who do not have the chance to experience the same things as us. Babysitting my siblings made me realize that I wanted to help children. I was able to go to church and join a ministry that will help people all around the world. Over the break I did not really spend time with friends or go out of town, but being here with my family has taught me how important many things in life are. Having to babysit has taught me patience, responsibility, and the difficulty of taking care of a child. It may have been hard work, but it was also fun and very educational. It made me realize that everything I do can be an educational experience if you learn from it.

Personal Growth

Over the two week break, I learned many new things, had many new great experiences, and had time to center and really focus on who I am and what I want in my future. I spent many days doing activities such as yoga, reading, and simply going to downtown with my sister or family and going to my favorite cafe. Over the break I also visited my sister at her new job which is in a retirement home where she helps serve the elderly. I enjoyed visiting her and I really liked her job. I decided that when I am able to, I am going to work there as well. I love to help out people and it is something I want to pursue as a career. I also spent much time with friends over break and had a lot of fun. There is nothing like going to fun parties, bomfires, going to bed late and sleeping in a lot. Although everything was fun and breaks are always the best, we always have to come back to this thing we called reality. School, studying, and the road to success. I have prepared myself for it and I know what I want for my future. I am ready for reality.

Alyssa Bautista

personal growth

During the two week break I have grown and realized many new things. A big realization that I came baout was how I need to stay in good shape and eat healthy during the break. Instead of
sitting at home watching tv or going on the computer when I was bored I would go to the gym every night sunday-thursday and go workout for about an hour and a half. I would also eat healthy foods and avoided junk food as much as possible. Over time all of this became a routine for me and I have became more aware of what is healthy for me to eat and I have become more in shape and can run longer distances without getting tired. Now I just have to continue to do what I am doing so I can become a healthier person.

Personal Growth Experience

One of my personal growth experiences was when I walked around downtown and gave homeless people sandwiches and water. It was a great experience and I learned a lot when I did it. We got to talk to them and hear their stories and also do something positive in their lives by feeding them and telling them that Jesus is still looking out for them. They had a lot of great things like patience and kindness. We also go to bring dog food for their pets. It was a really great experience and I hope to do it again soon. I also teaches me an important lesson on hard work and making good choices.

Personal Growth

A personal growth experience I would like to share involves my experiences on the OHS JV Girls Volleyball Team. Lately I haven't been playing to my fullest potential. From the past two games in beginning our league, we lost, which honestly discouraged me. Individually, we each covered our own positions and did what we could, but as a team, we lost when it came to not being ready and trusting each other. I realized that the little mistakes each player makes and the attitude of the teammates determines the outcome of the game. As a player, I am still continuing to grow in my skills; I really need to figure out what mistakes I am making and how to fix them, but also try to help out my fellow teammates so we can give the best we've got during our upcoming games. Actually, as long as I continued to fix my own mistakes, learn from them, and do my part to cheer the team on, I think we can all perform better.

Dear Congressman Shirt Man,

I am writing to you to highlight the good samaritan law in California and inform you of my opinion on it. I think there should be a good samaritan law because citizens do not have to worry about getting accused for making things worse when in fact they were helping and they may personally suffer for the time they put in to aid somebody.

The good samaritan law is eventually going to make the society better. Citizens could help somebody that got injured or is in a bad predicament and could possibly make the situation worse. The person could probably sue and now the citizen that tried to help is facing charges. Also certain workers of the society may not have time to help. A very busy assistant can be on their way to work, already late, and somebody gets injured near them. What can they do in that situation? There could be a possibility of them getting fired or in huge trouble by their boss. All of these concerns in the citizens' minds can be removed by the good samaritan law.

Thank you for the time you put in to read my letter. Please consider my proposal to have a good samaritan law because people should naturally be good samaritans in the first place.

Sincerely,

Raffi Rillo

Dear Mr.Swingline:

In the United states the ideation of allowing the good samaritan law has comed into question. However the United states will greaty be affected by such act, thus I suggest that the law should not passed.

Helping someone in need is moral, but not smart. If the law was to be passed the american citizens can come in contact of crime, danger, and the misfortune of the chance of getting sued. if the acting of hero does not come as planned, and the individual gets more hurt, it is by law legall that that man has the right to sue. Also the so called victim could be faking and attack the helper that is by law forced to react to such sittuations. Furthermore the helper could severely get hurt in the process. The good Samaritan Law is moral toward humanity, but very dangerous around our community.

Thanks for your time

Dear Mr. Pringles,

I am writing to you stating my concern about the new Good Samaritan Law that is up for discussion right now, whether it should be passed or not. I think that the Good Samaritan law should be passed because it's a great way to show unity and a sense of morality.

Encouraging people to help others in need always a plus; it's not forcing them. Fining a person for not following a law is the penalty for a lot of minor laws such as: not paying taxes. For example, taxes weren't ever needed to create a good country, but the state governments needed money, and basically implied that citizens of states need to pay taxes in everything they buy. That applies to the Good Samaritan Law as well. It's not needed, but it's a good law to have around, it has a sense of consciousness, and how people are setting their moral standards.

Thank you for taking your time to read my concerns.

Sincerely,

Monica Lee

Dear Miss Angela Batelo:
I am writing on behave to discuss about the Good Samaritan Law. It seems that there are many arguments on the subject of passing this law or not. I have come to tell you that I think the law should not be passed.
This law should not be passed because I feel that it's not really fair and good in a way. If people were naturally Good Samaritan's, they should not have to pass a law for it. People should do things from the heart, not because they have too. Also, there are already many laws that California has and so far it seems many people have broken many of these laws. What makes us think by passing this law that people may actually follow it as well? I think that passing the law really would be just a waste of time. People should do good acts from the heart, not from the law.
Thank you for taking the time to read my opinion and thoughts!

Sincerely,
Alyssa Bautista

Dear Congressman Prederick:

My name is Danny Lancaster and i am concerned about the possibility of a good samaritan law being passed in California. I do not think that such a law should be instated because its side effects out-way its benefits.
A world in which every citizen is a potential savior to another in need is a great world, but unfortunately this is unlikely to ever happen perfectly. A law requiring everyone to help outs the rescuers at risk of being sued by the very person or that person's family for trying to save their lives. If a law endangers the majority of the public to being sued it is un-just and should not be passed. An accompanying series of laws that provide clear guidelines protecting rescuers is the first step to improving upon this law. Still, every possible situation would need to be thought of and all kinks worked out for it to be logical to pass this law.

I look forward to the day a perfect good samaritan law is passed, but for now morals will have to govern rescue efforts. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,

Danny Lancaster

Dear Mr. No-Name: In the discussion of whether or not California should have a Good Samaritan law, I wish to inform you sir, that Good Samaritan should not be passed due to people having fear and hesistation to aid others.
There is a wall between helping and making matters possibly worse. It can be hard on the person who is willing to help to cope with the idea. They have to think quickly or act quickly, and is expected aid them and potentially save them. However, complications can insue when people are planning to be heroic. Hesistation due to concern of thier own wellbeing. People are indeed putting thier lives at risk to help someone. And if things did all go smoothly, what if the person in need of help, has passes? Is it right for the hero who put his or her's best efforts to saving the distressed, to get sued or to get wrongfully judged, if they were not able to save him or her? Good Samaritans now, are in good rish of getting punished by the law, if this Law is passed. It is best if the Law should not be passed.
Thank you for your time to read this letter. I would appreciate it of you took my reasoning in consideration.

Dear state official sam:

California shouldnt have a good samaritan law implemented at these times. its too dangerous and morality shoould control that not a law.
the truth is that people are too afraid of getting sued for making the situation worse. they dont know that person and the person might get mad. also we should trust the morality in all our samaritans to decide when they should help or not.
thank you for your time and i hope i have given you another insight into this topic and you think it over.

Dear Congressman Mangles:

I am writing to you that we should not have a Good Samaritan Law. Having a Good Samaritan Law can ruin our society.

Some may say that the Good Samaritan Law is beneficial to American society , but there are negative effects that may happen. Having the Good Samaritan Law will force people to help others in need. This means people who are inexperienced have to help the victim and possibly worsen the situation the victim is in. For example, an inexperienced man who is applying pressure onto a wound of a stranger's limb may lead the stranger to losing a limb. This is one reason why we shouldn't have a Good Samaritan Law.

Thank you for your time and consider not to apply a Good Samaritan Law.

Dear Congressman Potatohead:

I am writing this letter to you in order to discuss my opinion on the Good Samaritan Law that may or may not be passed in California. I wish to inform you that I do not believe the Good Samaritan Law should be passed because some people are afraid to act due to certain risks that they may take or endure.

It is important that we the people put ourselves in good samaritans' shoes. For example, imagine that we rescue a drowning victim. We pulled them out of the water, but now what? The victim requires mouth-to-mouth resuscitation; if we couldn't implement such a dire task, it is not like we could walk away. So, what if our skills in performing CPR were rudimentary? If we were to try, we could possibly worsen the situation, and even be sued by their loved ones. One reason I disagree with passing the Good Samaritan Law is due to the fact that people may not be able to perform, or in other words, people do not want to take the risk. Another reason as to why I disagree with passing this law is due to the fact that people may wish to not risk any injuries. Take Princess Diana's incident for example; photographers only took pictures of her trapped under a car. Yes, they were callous and chose not to help her, but what about bystanders? Possibly, people on the sidelines wanted to help, but maybe something held them back. Bystanders could have thought that they did not want to risk becoming injured while trying to save her, or possibly they just did not know how to approach the idea. Pressure could be another reason why this law should not be passed. The Good Samaritan Law threatens the good samaritans who are afraid to act with considerable reasons, and if the law were to be passed, they would commit an inequitable crime for their own personal circumstances.

Thank you for taking the time to look over my letter. I hope you take my opinion and reasoning under careful consideration.

Sincerely,

Dear Congresswoman Vargas,

I am writing to you in regards of whether California should have a Good Samaritan Law. I believe we should not have a Good Samaritan Law due to society's behavior and actions today.

Whether we have the Good Samaritan Law or not, there can still be complications and they might start problems between the Samaritan and the person who got saved. For instance, If someone where to see someone drowning, and they are not someone who is certified to save them, like a lifeguard, they could get sued for some "complications" that could happen during their act of kindness. Today's society has many things to worry about already, such as jobs, school, or even taking care of children or other family members. With so many worries, to add the care of other people to the list would just add to the stress of others. Also, today's society includes violence, such as gangs or drug dealers. People today are afraid to step in to help someone who is getting harassed, not knowing if and how they will get hurt in return for their heroic act.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I hope you consider my opinion and my reasoning.

Dear Congresswoman Decalf,

I am writing to you to discuss the matters of the Good Samaritan Law. I believe we should not have a Good Samaritan Law based on our society today and on moral behavior.

In our society we already have too many things to worry about. This law would just add on to the worries we already have such as work and maybe even taking care of kids. With this added law, people would also have to worry about the people in need who might be actually deceiving them for an unknown reason or about getting sued by someone that they did help but something went wrong. Having a Good Samaritan Law will also take away the moral of abetting somebody out of the goodness of there heart. Most Americans are raised on the thought that abetting someone without asking for anything in return is a benefit to the helper and the helped. For self-esteem and pride. But if it is required by law to abet someone then the value of the moral goes down.

I thank you for your consideration in reading this and I hope you also consider my opinion on the matter.

Respectively,

Dear Congressman Sherman:

In regards to implementing a Good Samaritan Law, I believe that we should not have a Good Samaritan Law because it may bring upon more consequences that are needed, it will put more citizens in danger, and we may even endanger the citizen already in need of aid.

We can put ourselves in danger when helping a person because many citizens are not qualified or trained to help save a person's life in a dangerous situation. Also, in the act of trying to abet someone, we may injure or harm them futher, and therefore, legal action may have to be used to resolve problems that were caused by the harm done. Lastly, we as Americans cannot force anyone to help one another because that it is unethical to force someone to do something that may bring more harm than good in a society that is becoming more dangerous and unpredictable.

Dear Congresswoman Dot,

I am writing to you in regards of whether or not California should implement the Good Samaritan law. I disagree with the Good Samaritan law because being a Good Samaritan should be of a personal act of kindness.

A Good Samaritan law may seem beneficial but may cause many legal problems. Being a Good Samaritan should be encouraged rather than implemented. For example, if you see someone who had just fainted and perform CPR incorrectly, the issue may get worse and you may end up being sued. That is also the reason why the Good Samaritan law would not be beneficial to you or the victim.

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read this letter. I hope you take it into consideration.

Dear Congresswoman Dessen,

I am writting this letter to you, because I believe that we should have a Good Samaritan Law. The Good Samaritan Law will create a better society to all.

In my opinion we should have a Good Samaritan Law because you help others in need. Most of the time people are in need, especially the elderly, once having the Good Samaritan Law everything will be easier. The Good Samaritan Law will not only help pepole in need, but also it would set a great example for all the other states that do not have the law. It would speak really good of us.

Thank you for your time, and I hope you can cosider my opinion.

Dear Congressman Brown,

I am addressing you in regards to whether or not California should implement a Good Samaritan Law. I firmly disagree with the Good Samritan Law due to numerous reasons including how lawsuits or future problems can occur if this law passes.

Having a Good Samaritan Law may seem like a good idea and may be beneficial but then again it has its negative problems. Even though it may seem like a smart way to have someone help another person out, it may lead to serious obstacles. For example, if a victim is hurt and someone decides to help out and something goes wrong while helping the victim out, the victim may sue the person helping him/her out. A Good Samaritan is helping a person out by the kindness of their heart, when they willingly choose to help out the community not when they are forced to help someone out. Therefore a Good Samaritan Law should not be enforced due to these reasons.

Thank you for taking time to read this. I appreciate if you take my opinion into deep consideration.

Dear Congressman Sparks:

I am writing this letter to you, regarding wheter or not we should have a "Good Samaritan" Law. I would like to explain to you, why I think it is a great idea to have a "Good Samaritan" law.

I honestly think that the U.S.A should have a "Good Samaritan" law, since it is going to help many people out there. Many times we see people that are in need and we do not stop and help them out, since we do not have a law that enforces us to help. In another hand, if we had a "Good Samaritan" law we would be obligated to stop and help, that would lead to a better situation since we can help to save someone's life. Our society would become more united over time, thanks to the law.

Thank you for your time, and I hope you consider my point of view.

Dear Congressman Juarez:

I am writing to you regarding the Good Samaritan Law, and whether or not it should be passed. I believe that we should not have the Good Samaritan Law.

We should not have the Good Samaritan Law because if we do, then we are obligated to help someone we see in need or needs help. If we do not have this law then it is better because what if we don't know what to do or we make the situation worse and end up getting sued, when we didn't even want to help. Not having this law can let people  who actually want to help be Good Samaritans because they want to, not because they are forced to or else they are not even being Good Samaritans.

I thank you for your time, and hope you take my thoughts into consideration.

Dear Official Moore:

I am writing to you concerning the "Good Samaritan" law that the state wants to impose. I would like to tell you how I view the effects of this law if we don't adopt it.

I think that California should not have a law that enforces one to be a "Good Samaritan". I think this because then it will allow the citizens of California to grow morally. It would make us grow morally because we have to use common sense on whether or not to help a person in need. I believe that in a society like the one that we're growing in it is important to show our neighbors and kids morals and to choose the right decision whether or not to help someone in need. Also, we would not want to hold a bystander liable for the injury of someone because of a law. Maybe they could not help because they were afraid of making it worse, or because they simply did not know how to help.

Thank you Official Moore for your time. My desires are that you think about my statement and consider it when deciding to adopt the law or not.

Dear Congressman Bob Smith:

Being a good samaritan has been a choice of moral standard. I believe we should not have a good samaritan law because us citizens will be forced to be in a situation that can put us at great risks.

In most cases, there are an infinate amount of situations where good samaritans who try to help put themselves at an even greater risk of getting injured. This would make the complication worse by adding on more problems and more people to worry about. Or what if the so called "victim" is faking and is part of a group and ambushes the good samaritan? Also, there have been numerous accounts of good samaritans being sued by the victims for their actions dispite their personal relationship. With that said, ask yourself this; how could someone, who's only intention is to help another person, be sued for their heroic act to stand up and help?

Thank you going out of your way and reading my perspective and I would gladly appreciate it if you consider my complaint.

Dear Congressman Yaperousky:

I am writing this letter in regards to the "Good Samaritan" laws. I will be stating whether or not I agree with the laws and why.

I believe that California should not have "Good Samaritan" laws. I believe this because simply forcing people to help others is not going to fix the liability problem. If someone tries to help someone else in need, and only makes the situation worse, does he become liable for any further damages? The current laws say yes. That is why people are afraid to help others; they are afraid to get in trouble. If you must pass a law addressing the issue, it should be a law that protects would-be "Good Samaritans."

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I hope that you consider my point of view.
