Over the break, I went to San Francisco with the Olympian academic Decathlon team. I have grown tremendously over the break, especially over the trip. I really got a lot closer to my teammates. The trip also got me excited about top-tier colleges like Stanford and Berkeley, which makes me want to work even harder to achieve my goals. The trip also taught me that I am NOT ready to be on my own. However, I never felt more independent, free, and alive in my entire life than when I was in San Francisco., which makes me even more excited for the tie that I am ready.
